The peach tree

Peach is a type of fruit bearing tree from
the Rosaceae family , it belongs to the pronus type
(to which plum and apricot also belong).although the tree is flower bearing as well the name peach refers also to the tree's fruit.
the origin of the original six breeds of peach (there are much more today) is in china and its surroundings. the europeans belived (by folley) that it was originated in persia and thus
called it persica.

The cultivated species of the peach tree , "prunus persuca vulgaris" , is the most common species in the world today. this species was first cultivated in europe on the few first centuries a.d., the
species spread out to greece and the western basin of the Mediterranean Sea. circa 16th century the peach arrived at the beaches of the "new world"
