The Cherry Tree


Cherry (a.k.a prunus subgenera cerasus) is a sub-type of prunus,a type which includes the almond , peach and apricot.

two species of cherry are especially known for the good , sweet fruit that they bear: sweet cherry (prunus avium) and sour cherry (prunus cerasus) these species are large trees that may reach heights of 18 meters, however in commercial
cultivation the tree's height is limited to 4 meters. there exist a couple of more sub species of cherry some that bear edible fruit such as the japanese cherry.

cherry trees common in asia, europe and north america , while the countries who are considered greatest in the cultivation of these fruit are iran,turkey and the usa. for the two known species there are various breeds , but they both need cold climate of about 1000 hours cold , and they are both pollinated by bees. one of the types
requires more trees in its vincinity in order to bear fruit.

The peach tree



Peach is a type of fruit bearing tree from
the Rosaceae family , it belongs to the pronus type
(to which plum and apricot also belong).although the tree is flower bearing as well the name peach refers also to the tree's fruit.
the origin of the original six breeds of peach (there are much more today) is in china and its surroundings. the europeans belived (by folley) that it was originated in persia and thus
called it persica.

The cultivated species of the peach tree , "prunus persuca vulgaris" , is the most common species in the world today. this species was first cultivated in europe on the few first centuries a.d., the
species spread out to greece and the western basin of the Mediterranean Sea. circa 16th century the peach arrived at the beaches of the "new world"

Dandelion

The dandelion is a common perrenial plant,originated in asia. its height is approximatley 45 centimeters and it is considered a weed plant, that grows nearly everywhere. the dandelion has a long main root, serrated or feathery leaves, and yellow petals.





* the young leaves of the dandelion are used , live and cooked in salads.

* whitening the flowers, by devoiding them of exposure to sunlight, will cause them to turn white and become less bitter.
*the root which is slightly bitter can be eaten raw or cooked as well.

* after drying the root u may easily toast it and use it as a caffeine free
substitute for coffee.

* from the flowers , that posess an impleasent scent, one could make tea
which is very much the contrary.

* from the root one could mae a brown-purple color.

* water distilled , after being soaked om the cultivation bases that use
for cultivating dandelions are then used for cosmetics and skin hygiene.

Sheperd's purse


The sheperd's purse is an annual hairy plant, associated with the mustard plant family, it is very common everywhere in the world. this plant has a typical disgusting scent.

the sheperd's purse may reach heights of 50 centimeters. the leaves resemble the dandelion's leaves. and the jackets are flat and stake-like. the petals are white and tiny.

the fresh leaves may use for green salads and may be cooked. they're flavour resembles that of mustard.

* winged creatures are very fond of the sheperd's purse seeds.

* when in waters the sheperd's purse acts as mosquito slug exterminators.

* chickens, fed with the green plant will lay eggs with a dark and tasty yolk.
